titleOfInvention Manufacturing method of porous ceramics
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for producing a porous ceramic, which is capable of producing a large-sized porous ceramic, and which is capable of mass-producing the porous ceramic efficiently and inexpensively. [Constitution] A molded body in which a porous aggregate is mixed with a binder containing at least one kind or a mixture of two or more kinds selected from inorganic substances typified by water glass or silica sol, and then molded into a desired shape and size. A method for producing a porous ceramic, comprising: Before firing the molded body, a curing step is included in which a gas is allowed to pass through the molded body to cure the entire body including the inside of the molded body.
