abstract | (57) 【Abstract】 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead-acid battery with stable performance which can be manufactured on an industrial scale and which has high utilization efficiency of an active material by adding a small amount of fiber and can be charged even after over-discharge. SOLUTION: A tin oxide fiber containing polycrystalline tin oxide as a basic component and further containing silica or a Group V element oxide as necessary and having energy, specific resistance and average fiber diameter required for specific destruction is provided. A positive electrode plate obtained by filling a current collector with an electrode active material contained in lead oxide, and a lead storage battery using the same. |
