abstract | (57) Abstract: A method for decomposing a protein contained in natural rubber, which acts as an allergen, and a method for removing the decomposed protein are provided. SOLUTION: A molded vulcanized product is immersed in an aqueous solution of proteolytic enzyme to decompose the protein, and the decomposed protein is extracted. The molded vulcanized product is immersed in a mixed aqueous solution of a proteolytic enzyme and a lipolytic enzyme to act on it to extract the protein. A nonionic surfactant is used in combination for protein decomposition and extraction.
