abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] When a monoalkenylbenzene is produced by reacting a C7-10 alkylbenzene and a C4-6 conjugated diene compound, at least the formula K 2 O.xAl 2 O 3 After supporting at least one selected from sodium, potassium, sodium amide and potassium amide on a carrier composed of a compound represented by (0.5 ≦ x ≦ 11), as it is or in contact with hydrogen, A method for producing a monoalkenylbenzene, which comprises using a catalyst obtained by contacting at least one compound selected from water, alcohol and phenols. [Effect] The above-mentioned method for producing monoalkenylbenzene is superior in yield, activity, selectivity, economic efficiency, safe operability, etc. as compared with the conventional methods using various catalysts, and there is no danger of ignition, fire, etc. It is useful as an industrial production method of alkenylbenzene. |
