titleOfInvention Culture method of marine microalgae
abstract (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for culturing marine microalgae, which enables stable growth of high-density algal cells in a short period of time. In a method for cultivating an alga that belongs to a marine microalgae and has an ability to produce docosahexaenoic acid, a nutrient solution containing a carbon source and a nitrogen source is continuously or intermittently added to a culture solution during the culture. A method for culturing marine microalgae, which comprises adding to the above to adjust the concentration of a carbon source and a nitrogen source in the culture medium and culturing.
