titleOfInvention nozzle
abstract (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a nozzle that has a long life and can be manufactured at low cost. In a nozzle made of a tubular member, a nitride layer is formed on the surface of the tubular member by a nitriding treatment. Therefore, the tubular member is composed of three layers including two nitrided layers and an intermediate layer of the original member sandwiched therebetween. Thus, a nozzle is provided with the toughness provided by the intermediate layer and the hardness provided by the nitrided layer. This nozzle is used, for example, in a mounting machine used for mounting a printed wiring board to suck and hold electronic components.
