(57) [Summary] [Objective] A high degree of antifogging effect can be obtained by coating the surface of a transparent substrate such as glass or a lens with an antifogging coating containing a photocatalytic titania. However, anti-fogging coatings containing titania have a high refractive index and therefore reflect glare. The present invention aims to reduce the reflection of anti-fogging coatings containing titania. A transparent substrate coated with a transparent anti-fog coating containing particles of photocatalytic titania, wherein the coating comprises titania particles in a medium having a refractive index of less than 2, and an average crystal of the titania particles. The feature is that the diameter is about 0.1 μm or less. |
