titleOfInvention | Zinc alkaline battery |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To provide a zinc-alkali battery that is pollution-free and highly safe by suppressing gas generation without adding mercury and lead. SOLUTION: In a zinc alkaline battery, as a negative electrode active material, 0.01 to 0.1% by weight of indium, 0.001 to 0.01% by weight of aluminum, and 0.001 to bismuth of bismuth are used. 0.01% by weight, 0.001 to 0.05% by weight of titanium, and at least one selected from the group consisting of lithium, sodium and potassium in total of 0.001 to 0.0 A zinc alloy powder containing 5% by weight is used, and an indium compound as an anticorrosive agent for the zinc alloy powder is 0.05 to 0.5% by weight in terms of indium with respect to the zinc alloy powder. The addition of mercury suppresses the generation of internal gas in the battery without adding mercury and lead. |
