abstract | (57) [Summary]nHomogeneous high nitrile melt processible acrylonitrile olefinically unsaturated multipolymer and method of making the multipolymer. The method involves polymerizing a mixture of an acrylonitrile monomer and one or more olefinically unsaturated monomers. Here, the addition rate of the multi-monomer mixture is set by the polymerization rate, so the concentration of unreacted acrylonitrile monomer and unreacted olefinically unsaturated monomer is low, and the polymerization process is under monomer-deficient conditions. |
