(57) [Summary] A compound containing a benzo [b] furan moiety and a substituted heterocyclic moiety, which are bound by a methylene group via the 3-position of the benzo [b] furan moiety, is an antagonist of the dopamine receptor subtype in the brain. It is a drug, a potent antagonist of the human dopamine D 4 receptor subtype, and has a higher selective affinity for the D 4 subtype than other dopamine receptor subtypes, and thus, for example, in schizophrenia. It is beneficial in the treatment and / or prevention of psychotic disorders and exhibits fewer side effects than those in combination with conventional neuroleptic agents. |
