titleOfInvention | Monoclonal antibody against human ventricular myosin light chain |
abstract | (57) [Summary]nA monoclonal antibody with high affinity for the myocardial isoform of human myosin light chain is described. Monoclonal antibodies are prepared against synthetic peptides from the amino terminus to myosin light chain-1. The monoclonal antibody can be used as a reagent in an immunoassay system to identify blood, serum or plasma levels of myosin light chain. Such immunoassay systems can be used to diagnose and quantify myocardial necrosis and myocardial infarction. |
