The role of (57) Abstract: substantially purified human growth factor preparations contain distinct polypeptide with an apparent M r of SDS / PAGE of about 220 kD, and different is shown with bFGF , Having the most active fraction of about 220 kD. A 157 kD human growth factor polypeptide was identified in human bone marrow aspirates and from bone stromal cells by immunoblotting with mAb MS329 and affinity isolation using an MS329 antibody column. PSA-stimulated autocrine factor (PSAF; capable of precipitation in ammonium sulphate between 60-80% saturation) can induce PSA expression and secretion, and can be used as an indicator of androgen-independent prostate cell proliferation. |
