titleOfInvention | Self-dispersible curable epoxy resin, dispersion produced with the same, and paint produced therefrom |
abstract | (57) [Summary]nThe self-dispersible curable epoxy resin composition comprises (a) 1.0 reaction equivalent of epoxy resin, (b) 0.005-0.5 reaction equivalent of amine-epoxy addition product, and optionally (c) about. Produced by contacting 0.01 to 1.0 reaction equivalent of polyhydric phenol, the amine-epoxy addition product having 1.0 equivalent of aliphatic polyepoxide and more than 1.0 but not more than about 2.5. Obtained by contacting with a reaction equivalent of polyoxyalkylene amine. The self-dispersible curable epoxy resin becomes an aqueous aqueous dispersion by mixing with water. The aqueous dispersion is useful as a coating when cured. |
