titleOfInvention | Human μ opioid receptor |
abstract | (57) Summary The present invention relates to compositions of mu opioid receptor polypeptides and methods for obtaining mu opioid receptor polypeptides. The invention also provides a polynucleotide encoding a mu opioid receptor polypeptide, recombinant vectors having these sequences, recombinant host cells containing any of these sequences or vectors, recombinant opioid receptor polypeptides, and mu opioid receptors. It relates to an immunoreactive antibody. The present invention is also designed to select and improve isolated recombinant receptor polypeptides with agents capable of interacting with mu opioid receptor polypeptides for use in diagnostic, drug design, and therapeutic applications. Methods used in the assay. |
