(57) [Summary]nDisclosed is a method of separating HF from organic compounds by passing a stream of substantially pure organic compound through a mixture of HF and organic compounds through a column or bed containing a polymer that sorbs HF. ing. HF can be recovered from the polymer or an organic compound having a reduced HF concentration can be recovered. The HF and the organic compound will form an azeotrope or azeotrope-like mixture. |
