(57) [PROBLEMS] To provide a simple and sensitive method for measuring PIVK-2, which is attracting attention as a new liver cancer marker different from α-fetoprotein or an indicator substance for diagnosis. SOLUTION: PIVK-2 derived from human hepatoma cells is used as an antigenic substance to prepare a monoclonal antibody against it. By mixing at least two types of monoclonal antibodies having different specificities to the antigen, the reactivity in ELISA is dramatically increased, and the sensitivity of the measurement system can be further improved. In particular, the reactivity of prothrombin is unexpectedly completely suppressed. The PIVKA-2 measurement method, which is excellent in terms of simplicity and sensitivity, can be used for clinical diagnosis of PIVKA-2 measurement as a new liver cancer marker. |
