Water absorbent nonwoven fabric |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide a water-absorbent nonwoven fabric having both biodegradability and high water-absorption property. [Structure] An aliphatic polyester resin, which has thermoplasticity and can be decomposed by microorganisms and which contains glycol and an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or its derivative component as constituent units, is melt-spun to collect a large number of long fiber filaments. After forming a web, a paper sheet made of pulp fibers is laminated on one side of a spunbonded nonwoven fabric obtained by providing regular and intermittent self-bonding areas on the web, and then from the paper sheet side to the spunbonded nonwoven fabric side. It is a composite non-woven fabric obtained by penetrating a high-pressure water column flow toward and entangled and integrating pulp fibers and long fibers of the non-woven fabric, wherein the pulp fibers have crosslinked carboxyalkyl groups. |
