abstract | (57) [Summary] [Constitution] An engine lubricating oil additive comprising an oil-soluble trimethylolaminomethane derivative, and an engine lubricating oil composition containing 0.01 to 10% by weight of the lubricating oil additive. . [Effect] According to the engine lubricating oil additive of the present invention, the cleaning effect of the engine piston can be improved and the friction reducing effect can be obtained. As a result, the addition of phosphorus-based extreme pressure agents and ester-based oiliness improvers (ester-based lubricants), which are conventionally used as metal-based detergents and friction-reducing agents, can be reduced or eliminated. It is possible to extend the life of engine oil. Therefore, the engine lubricating oil composition of the present invention containing the additive is excellent in the piston cleaning effect and the friction reducing effect. |
