titleOfInvention | Catalyst for removing nitrogen oxide, method for producing the same, and method for removing nitrogen oxide using the same |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Problem] Titanium oxide-coated fine particles capable of efficiently removing nitrogen oxides in the atmosphere, rivers, and seawater in a low temperature range, having a long catalyst life, and easily separated and recovered. Provided are a hollow glass composite gold catalyst, a method for producing the same, and a method for removing nitrogen oxides using the same. SOLUTION: First, a fine particle hollow glass sphere is coated with a thin film of titanium oxide to form a titanium oxide-coated fine hollow glass sphere, and then a gold compound is compositely fixed to the titanium oxide coated fine hollow glass sphere to perform oxidation. A titanium-coated fine-grain hollow glass composite gold catalyst is produced. Also, using this catalyst, nitrogen oxides are directly decomposed or reduced to make them harmless. |
