abstract | (57) Abstract: An acrylic polymer having no coloration, chelating ability and biodegradability, a builder comprising the same, a detergent composition comprising the builder and a surfactant, and a salt of the polymer. To provide a dispersant and an efficient production method thereof. SOLUTION: As a terminal group, a compound represented by the general formula (I): (Wherein R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, X 1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom or an ammonium group), and has a number average molecular weight of 300 to 100,000 acrylic polymer. A builder comprising this, a detergent composition comprising the builder and a surface-active ingredient, A dispersant comprising a salt of the polymer. Moreover, the manufacturing method characterized by polymerizing an acrylic monomer using the percarboxylic acid corresponding to the said terminal group as an initiator. |
