titleOfInvention Electrostatic separator for magnetic particles in transmission lubricating fluid
abstract (57) An object of the present invention is to provide an electrostatic separator for magnetic particles and metal pieces in a transmission lubricating liquid, which is housed in a casing and reliably removes magnetic particles and metal pieces from the lubricating liquid. An electrostatic separator for magnetic particles (12) or magnetic metal pieces in a lubricating fluid of a transmission (1) includes a screen (3). And an electrostatic element 9 attached to this screen. The screen 3 is made of a non-magnetic material and is arranged in the transmission casing substantially parallel to the main flow direction 4 of the lubricating liquid. A partial flow 13 of lubricating liquid passes through the holes 8 in the screen.
