Electrostatic separator for magnetic particles in transmission lubricating fluid |
abstract |
(57) An object of the present invention is to provide an electrostatic separator for magnetic particles and metal pieces in a transmission lubricating liquid, which is housed in a casing and reliably removes magnetic particles and metal pieces from the lubricating liquid. An electrostatic separator for magnetic particles (12) or magnetic metal pieces in a lubricating fluid of a transmission (1) includes a screen (3). And an electrostatic element 9 attached to this screen. The screen 3 is made of a non-magnetic material and is arranged in the transmission casing substantially parallel to the main flow direction 4 of the lubricating liquid. A partial flow 13 of lubricating liquid passes through the holes 8 in the screen. |
