abstract (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a therapeutic agent for heart disease having low toxicity and an excellent therapeutic effect for heart diseases such as ischemic heart disease and arrhythmia, and useful as the therapeutic agent. It is to provide a novel benzopyran derivative. SOLUTION: General formula (I) (In the formula, R 1 is an alkyl group or an alkenyl group, and R 2 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkyl group having a hydroxyl group, an alkenyl group, an acyl group, or a glycosyl group.) Or a therapeutic agent for heart disease containing a physiologically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient, and a compound of the general formula (II): (However, in the formula, R 1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, and R 2 is an alkyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms and having a hydroxyl group.) A benzopyran derivative or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof.
