titleOfInvention Agent for preventing ocular tissue opacity after ophthalmic surgery.
abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem to be Solved] Opacity and refractive error of the eye tissue may occur due to cellular hyperplasia of the eye tissue and overproduction of its metabolites during the healing process of the patient after ophthalmic surgery. In the wound healing process of the eye tissue, it suppresses inflammatory cells in the eye tissue and its metabolite hyperproduction due to hyperplasia of eye tissue cells, especially protein (collagen), and reduces visual acuity due to opacity and refractive error of the eye tissue. An ophthalmic composition for preventing the above-mentioned problems. Means: A protein biosynthesis-inhibiting antibacterial antibiotic is used as an active ingredient and is directly administered to the ocular region of a patient after ophthalmologic surgery to produce inflammatory cells during ocular tissue wound healing and metabolite formation by ocular tissue hyperplasia thereof. In particular, an ophthalmic composition that suppresses protein, maintains transparency and normal refraction of ocular tissues in prognosis, and prevents deterioration of visual acuity.
