abstract | (57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide an antifogging agent capable of rapidly exhibiting antifogging property on the surface of various molded articles made of synthetic resin material and maintaining the antifogging property for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A dicarboxylic acid having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, a dicarboxylic acid anhydride, a lower alkyl ester of dicarboxylic acid or a dicarboxylic acid halide is added to (a) 6 to 30 carbon atoms. An antifogging agent containing a reaction product obtained by reacting the aliphatic alcohol or the aliphatic amine having 6 to 30 carbon atoms with (b) a polyhydric alcohol or a compound having an oxirane ring. |
