titleOfInvention Disk cartridge
abstract (57) Abstract: When a pair of shutters for opening and closing a recording / reproducing or disc drive shaft insertion opening provided on the upper and lower surfaces of a shell have different lengths, the shutter is provided. When molding with synthetic resin, there is a drawback that distortion is likely to occur and manufacturing is difficult. Therefore, this is solved and the shutter can be manufactured easily. A disk cartridge (1) is formed in a U shape by a pair of opening / closing sections (31, 32) facing each other at a predetermined interval and a connecting section (33) connecting one ends of the pair of opening / closing sections (31, 32). Shutter 7 Is slidably attached to the shell 3 by the slide guide member 4, and the openings 5 and 6 provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the shell 3 are opened and closed by the pair of opening and closing portions 31 and 32. The shutter 7 is formed by bending a synthetic resin sheet into a U-shape. The slide guide member 4 is formed by injection molding synthetic resin. The shutter 7 and the slide guide member 4 are integrally connected.
