abstract | (57) Abstract: Even if the shape of a magnetic head changes, it is isotropic in strength and has a moderate flexibility, and a high cleaning property is obtained by a cleaning layer having a good surface property. Prevents scratches on the magnetic head. A lower coating layer mainly containing a non-magnetic inorganic powder and a binder is provided on a non-magnetic support, and a cleaning layer containing at least an inorganic powder of ferromagnetic powder and the binder is provided thereon. The binder used in the lower coating layer is composed of at least a diol and a polyurethane resin which is a reaction product mainly composed of organic diisocyanate, and the polyurethane resin contains a short chain diol having a cyclic structure and a long chain diol having an ether group.
