abstract (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To establish a technique for correcting the deformation of the end portion of a drum-shaped substrate, and to improve the mountability and the dimensional accuracy of a fixing member (flange) for mounting in an electrophotographic apparatus. The image density unevenness is eliminated. SOLUTION: A region having an increased inner diameter is provided on the end side of the drum-shaped base body, and a taper-shaped portion having a thickness of the base body gradually reduced is provided on the end side of the base body from the region.
