(57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To provide a foamed refractory material having a highly foamed and strong char and significantly improved fire resistance. SOLUTION: A composite crystalline polyphosphoric acid in which ammonium polyphosphate having a crystal form of type I and ammonium polyphosphate having a crystal form of type II have a composition of 5:95 to 95: 5 by weight ratio of the former to the latter. A foamed refractory material using a synthetic resin as a binder, characterized by using ammonium. |
