titleOfInvention Plug device for seamless steel pipe drilling
abstract (57) Abstract: A plug device for seamless steel pipe perforation for improving the inner surface quality of a material to be perforated and a plug life in press roll perforation used in a perforating process in a seamless steel pipe manufacturing process. To do. SOLUTION: The plug has a configuration in which it is divided into two or more parts on a plane perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the axisymmetric shape, and further, the tip end side of the plug has the axis of symmetry of the axisymmetric shape of the plug. The plug is made of two parts, and the plug is made of a ceramic material having excellent wear resistance and seizure resistance or a cermet material containing 50% or more of ceramics. As a result, seizure between the plug and the material to be rolled due to perforation and wear of the plug are reduced, so that the inner surface quality of the perforated material and the plug life can be improved.
