abstract | (57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide a water treatment device and a treatment method therefor capable of effectively reducing and removing harmful metals such as arsenic and lead from raw water containing these harmful metals. A water inlet 12 is provided at one end and the other end, respectively. a, and at least one layer of granular ceramics is deposited in a cylindrical housing 10 having an outlet 13a, and at least one magnet 41 is provided above and below the granular ceramics layer 26 so that the directions of the lines of magnetic force thereof coincide with each other. In a water treatment device provided with a filtration layer which is arranged so that the direction of is along the flow of water, water treatment is performed to reduce and remove harmful metals in the raw water. |
