abstract | (57) Abstract: In an image recording method and apparatus, it is possible to obtain a high-quality reproduction print by suppressing a change in density due to a latent image regression phenomenon of a photosensitive material. A hole is formed in a photosensitive material by a hole punch, and print management information of a frame image between the holes is stored in a print management information storage unit. The processes in the back print unit 26 and the development processing unit are performed based on the print management information stored in the print management information storage unit 15. Further, the control unit 16 controls the driving of the roller 86 based on the print management information so that the frames for which the predetermined time has not passed are not conveyed to the development processing unit.
