abstract |
(57) Abstract: A method for producing 1-hexene in a reaction for trimerizing ethylene using a catalyst system which is easy to handle and highly active and which is highly selective. An aliphatic hydrocarbon is used as a solvent in a reaction for trimerizing ethylene in the presence of a chromium catalyst composed of a chromium compound, an alkyl metal compound and an imide compound, and an internal olefin compound, a non-conjugated diene compound and a non-conjugated compound are used. At least one compound selected from the group consisting of triene compounds is added in an amount of 0.01 to 0.01 50% by volume is added to the reaction system. |
