titleOfInvention Liquid crystal display
abstract (57) Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a liquid crystal display device capable of improving light utilization efficiency and contrast. A liquid crystal mixed interference film of the liquid crystal display device. Is formed of a mixture of liquid crystal and a photosensitive polymer. The photosensitive polymer contained in the mixture is cured by irradiating the mixture with a plurality of lights having different wavelengths and exposing the mixture again. At this time, the irradiated light is reflected by the reflector to form a standing wave, and the photosensitive polymer at the antinode of the standing wave is selectively exposed and cured. The liquid crystal remains at the node of the standing wave. Therefore, the liquid crystal mixed interference film 14 includes the liquid crystal layers 14R, 14G, and 14B. The polymer layer 14P and the polymer layer 14P are laminated at substantially equal intervals.
