abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide a method of assaying the vitality of a transplanted organ within a short time before transplantation by collecting a tissue sample from the organ so as not to hinder transplantation. [Structure] A tissue sample is aspirated and collected by using a negative pressure in a hollow needle by a biopsy, washed, and a cell sample is brought into contact with a radiolabeled substrate in a liquid phase, and a supernatant or a precipitate is extracted. The liquid is analyzed by thin layer chromatography and the radioactivity is measured by autoradiography.
