abstract (57) Abstract: The present invention relates to a molded polymer product in which a molded product such as a contact lens is partially or completely coated with a hydrophilic polymer which imparts wettability to the surface thereof, and a wettability product. To form a molded article with a surface, It is an object to provide a method of using a latent hydrophilic monomer. The molded article of the present invention is one in which a polymer body is coated with a latent hydrophilic polymerizable material or a coating derived from the latent hydrophilic polymerizable material.
