titleOfInvention | Method for producing protocatechualdehyde |
abstract | (57) Abstract: The present invention is a method for producing protocatechualdehyde from piperonyl dichloride, which can produce protocatechualdehyde at a high yield and which is a by-product phosphorus compound. An object of the present invention is to provide an industrially suitable method for producing protocatechu aldehyde, which can be easily treated and is easy to purify protocatechu aldehyde. An object of the present invention is to react piperonyl dichloride with molecular chlorine in the presence of a chlorine compound selected from phosphorus trichloride, phosphorus pentachloride, and sulfuryl chloride, and hydrolyze dichloropiperonylidene dichloride produced. It is achieved by a method for producing protocatechu aldehyde characterized by decomposing. |
