abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A method for producing an ethylene-based polymer, which comprises using a catalyst composed of a chromic acid ester, an inorganic oxide solid, and an alumoxane. [Effect] By carrying out the present invention, it is possible to produce an ethylene polymer for blow molding which is excellent in balance between rigidity and environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) and in moldability.
