titleOfInvention | Process for producing silver halide emulsion and photographic light-sensitive material containing the same |
abstract | (57) Abstract: To provide a silver halide emulsion and a photographic light-sensitive material having good sensitivity, graininess and sharpness. SOLUTION: In a dispersion medium solution containing water and a dispersion medium, at least 75 to 100% of the total projected area of an emulsion in which grains are formed through nucleation, ripening and growth processes has an aspect ratio of 1.5 or more and 100 or less. In the silver halide emulsion, the dispersion medium solution contains a low molecular weight gelatin having a molecular weight of 70,000 to 1,000 at least in the nucleation step, and the chemical modification rate of amino groups is 15% or more and 100% or more in at least the growth step. 75-100% of the total projected area characterized by containing the following chemically modified gelatin has an aspect ratio of 1.5 or more 1 A method for producing a silver halide emulsion of 00 or less and a photographic light-sensitive material containing the same. |
