titleOfInvention | 4- (2-thienyl) pyridine derivative |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A novel 4- (2-thienyl) pyridine derivative is provided. SOLUTION: 5- (4-Pyridyl) -2-thiophenecarbaldehyde and benzyltriphenylphosphonium chloride are dissolved in methylene chloride, and an appropriate amount of 20% by weight aqueous sodium hydroxide solution is added dropwise while stirring under reflux at 50 ° C. Stir vigorously for about 1 hour. Methylene chloride was added to this, and this organic layer (methylene chloride) was taken out, The aqueous layer is extracted with methylene chloride. These methylene chloride solutions were washed with ion-exchanged water, saturated sodium sulfite solution, and ion-exchanged water in this order, then the solvent (methylene chloride) was distilled off under reduced pressure, and recrystallized with ethanol to give (E) -1. -Phenyl-2- [5- (4-pyridyl) -2-thiophene] ethene (PPTE) is obtained. As shown in the graph of FIG. 1, this compound exhibits laser emission, and its peak wavelength is 454 nm. |
