abstract (57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide an amine-based epoxy resin curing agent capable of obtaining a tough coating film excellent in chemical resistance and water resistance. SOLUTION: Two or more carboxyl groups in a molecule obtained by reacting a polyvalent alcohol having a polyoxyethylene chain in the molecule with a polyvalent carboxylic acid having 2 to 10 carbon atoms or an acid anhydride thereof. To the epoxy resin (A) obtained by reacting the polyester resin (a) having the above with the epoxy resin (b) having two or more epoxy groups in the molecule, It relates to a method for producing an amine-modified epoxy resin (C), which comprises reacting an excess amount of polyamines (B) with respect to the epoxy groups of the epoxy resin (A).
