abstract (57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide a novel sugar chain polymer having an oligosaccharide introduced into a polypeptide having biodegradability and having no basic residue. A sugar chain polymer having a main chain of a polypeptide having a carboxylic acid residue such as glutamic acid or aspartic acid and an oligosaccharide such as lactose bound to the main chain through an amide bond. The oligosaccharide may be attached to the polypeptide backbone via a hydrophobic group.
