titleOfInvention | Recording method and recording apparatus thereof |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A recording method and an apparatus therefor capable of reducing the power supply capacity of the apparatus while maintaining high quality recording. Data stored in a line buffer is divided into a plurality of segments, and an average effective pixel ratio is calculated from two segments adjacent to each other. Then, with respect to the recording band, the maximum average effective pixel ratio (MAXduty) is obtained, and it is compared whether or not the value is equal to or more than a predetermined threshold value. Then, according to the comparison result, it is controlled whether or not the recording for the band is divided into a plurality of carriage scans. Furthermore, when recording is performed in that band by one-pass control, an average effective pixel ratio (AVEduty) for the entire one band is obtained, and according to the value, it is determined whether to perform reciprocal recording or only forward recording. . |
