abstract | (57) 【Abstract】 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reproducing an image of continuous color tone. The present invention comprises the following steps: partitioning the surface of the substrate into a plurality of discrete microdots, and-applying at least two types of toner having substantially the same chromaticity to at least one microdot.
