titleOfInvention | Charging member, charging device, image forming device and process cartridge |
abstract | (57) Abstract: With respect to contact charging using a fur brush as a charging member, there is no problem of uneven charging, and it is possible to extend the life of the fur brush and the body to be charged, thereby forming an image forming apparatus. Therefore, it should be possible to realize a high-speed, high-durability ozone-less process, energy saving, night-time power-off, speeding up the image forming process, image quality improvement, prevention of leakage of magnetic powder, and maintenance-free operation. SOLUTION: A charging member 102 that contacts a charged body 101 to apply a voltage to charge the charged body, is a magnetic body 102b, and is provided on the magnetic body and is in contact with the charged body. A charging member characterized by being a fur brush charging member having a basic structure of a magnetically permeable fiber brush layer 102c and magnetic powder 102d dispersed between fibers of the fiber brush layer, and the charging member was used. A charging device, an image forming apparatus using the charging device, a process cartridge, and the like. |
