abstract |
(57) Abstract: To provide a simple and efficient method for producing a polyester having a carboxyl group. SOLUTION: The cyclic acid anhydride and the carboxyl group-containing epoxy compound are reacted in the presence of 0.01 to 10.0 mol% of a tertiary amine with respect to the total amount of the cyclic acid anhydride and the carboxyl group-containing epoxy compound to form a carboxyl group. A group-containing polyester is obtained. |
