Suitable electrode materials for electrochemical cells |
abstract |
(57) Abstract: Known polymer binders for electrodes for electrochemical cells, such as vinylidene difluoride / hexafluoropropene copolymer, are not only costly and sparingly soluble, There is a drawback that significantly increases the battery resistance, and therefore to provide an electrode material that avoids and overcomes these drawbacks. SOLUTION: The polymer binder II comprises (a) an essentially fluorine-free monomer and (b) a solid III capable of reversibly capturing or releasing lithium ions in an electrochemical reaction. A suitable electrode material for the electrochemical cell featured. |
