abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer photographic element having a low amount of imageable silver. A photographic element comprising a support bearing each imageable silver halide emulsion layer sensitive to blue, green and red light respectively, over all of the imageable layers of the element. The imageable silver contained is as follows: (1) Thickness 0. Ultra-thin tabular grains having a particle size of less than 07 μm are the items (1) and (2). And occupy 25% by weight or more of the total content of the image-forming silver contained in (3); (2) (a) tabular grains having a thickness of 0.10 μm or more and (b) ECD of 0.15 μm or more.
