(57) Abstract: (Corrected) SOLUTION: Consists of 35 to 45 amino acids, which are capable of forming a conformational epitope and binding to autoantibodies, as present in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Peptide of the antigen Sm-D. Particularly preferred is VEPKVKSKKREAVA It is a peptide consisting of 37 amino acids having the structure GRGRGRGRGRGRGRGRGRGRGGGPRR, or mutants and variants thereof. [Effect] It is possible to perform highly reliable diagnosis of SLE. Moreover, it is extremely suitable not only for diagnosis of SLE but also for treatment control (monitoring) and production of a drug for SLE. |
