titleOfInvention | Image forming method |
abstract | (57) Abstract: An image forming method in which water is supplied to a photothermographic material by a jet water coating method and heat development is performed to provide an image forming method with less uneven density. At least a photosensitive silver halide, a binder, and a dye-donor compound that forms or releases a diffusible dye corresponding to or against a reaction in which silver halide is reduced to silver are provided on a support. After imagewise exposing the photothermographic material described above, water is supplied, and heat development is carried out to form a diffusible dye image, which is transferred to a dye fixing element. An image forming method comprising a step of supplying water droplets of 0.01 mm 3 or less, and a contact angle of the photosensitive material 0.5 seconds after the water droplets land is 50 degrees or less. |
