abstract (57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide a camera with interchangeable lenses capable of preventing exposure defects by flashmatic control. SOLUTION: As a result of photometry calculation, if it is determined that a flash is required with low brightness, TV and AV are determined from a program line for flash (S962, S963). Then, it is judged from the FMEN data of the GETED communication whether or not the flash control by the flashmatic (FM) is possible (S964). If FM is possible, the flash guide number is calculated from the subject distance and the aperture value (AV), and the guide number data is sent to the flash unit (S). 965, S966). If FM is not possible, data indicating that light emission amount control by light control is performed is transmitted to the flash unit (S968).
